Summer flies!

Where has the summer gone? It's going by fast and, though cooler days seem a LONG way off, I know it won't be long before we're through with these 90+ degree days.
The fishing has been good and I've been lucky enough to go all over the place to chase fish. I headed up to MV in June to chase stripers and hang out with old friends and family...
I even got my father to take a picture of me with a fish. It's one of the few pictures I have of
myself. I look like I'm nuts!
I've caught a LOT of trout and been lucky enough to help a lot of people catch their first fish!

With a lot of my summer travel over with I'm happy to be back in a groove at home and settling down a little. I even took myself for a jog this morning - jogging is not great.
While it's hot outside I've taken the bread and pizza to the grill! It's going nicely though I think it takes a little longer to get your pizza cooked all the way through on the BBQ. The bread looks nice!
I'm excited about some hot late-summer fishing with grasshoppers and caddis and hiding out in the AC getting some work done on the knitting needles. I've got a half a shawl knit up for the Mrs and I'm dying to get that sucker done.
Keep checking back, it's when things are slow that I make the most fun! Keep your stick on the water and the AC cranking - micah

An article in the news the other days says fly fishing supply businesses are running out of stock. Apparently there has been an onslought of fashionistas who are making 'fascinators' (hats) following the Canadian visit of HRH the Dutchess of Cambridge.

Just so ya' know!
