I have been BUSY!

Where do I begin? After the fall wedding and getting my fishing on (Over here on Knee Deep Fly Fishing's page) I've been staying out of trouble teaching knitting classes. Fibre Space's shop in Old Town Alexandria, VA is pretty great and so far my teaching experience has been great too. I'm not sure if I've just gotten lucky but all my students seem to be good folks.

The picture above is of the sock I'm making along with my students in my sock-class. If you've never made socks before you're missing out. Hand knit socks are nothing like you'll get at the store. I was a hard convert but after my first pair I was hooked.

On top of the sock class I've been lucky enough to teach the Into to Lace class and a few beginner classes. The beginners are fun - takes me back to when I was learning!

I'll keep at the posting and checking back as I can!!!! Spring is coming and that helps with the adventures. Spread love and wear your helmet! It's cold out there and you never know when the overpasses will be frozen!
