Whew! you know, moving's not easy but I'm so glad you made the jump. I'll keep things interesting, I swear. I was crushed to find out that the 834 of you that checked in this month was too much for my "blog.com" account. I'm not sure who you all are or what the hell you've found interesting so far but I'll just keep on doing this. I'm sorry if you missed me. To show that I love you, I'll post shots of my finished mixer:
I haven't figured out how to mess with the sizing so bear with me. It's hot though.
So for those of you who though I died trying to find "G St. Fabrics", I'm still alive. That joint was cool but I was more comfortable with the Jo'Anns prices! Yikes. I needed some prints to make a man knitting-ditty-bag. The ladies at the yarn shop on Saturday were convinced that I couldn't make one as nice as the el'cheep-O bags everyone uses to hold their balls. This was not one of the usual haunts so they had no idea the level of craftyness they were dealing with. I refuse to have my balls in something that's not stylish. I was happy with the matchel but my knitting still gets tangled with the camera and the flask and the phone and the i-pod. SO, behold the knittie-bag:
yeah, it's hot, I know. And, yes, I lined it with the same nylon that the others are made from, mine's just dope on the outside. It's the bottom that "makes it." I can walk through Columbia-Heights in style man! Christine sat and watched while I whipped it up in 30 minutes or less! ...once again, I'm a crafty-mo'fo! I've got enough to whip up a few more "one-offs"; I may throw them up here for sale.
Keep your stick in the wool and spread some love! Glad you made it--Micah
